In order to help alleviate patient and family member fears and to provide vitally needed information, the physicians and professional staff of Advanced Medical Specialties have developed a patient education program unlike any other in the country. Every Advanced Medical Specialties patient is encouraged to participate in this exceptional program, known simply as our weekly Chemo Education class. To enroll, please call your individual oncologist’s office for details of dates and times of the class. In addition to this general information, our nurses are available to explain each participant's individualized treatment plan. You will leave the session knowing what to expect and how to cope more effectively with your chemotherapy regimen. We believe that well-informed patients handle their treatments better and are often able to enjoy life more fully. We encourage you to take advantage of this class.
